Motion Designers: Sophia D’Alleva and Snow Li

This collaborative title design is part of a rebrand for the CW’s now cancelled show “Two Sentence Horror Stories.” Two Sentence Horror Stories is an anthology horror show that aired on the CW from 2019-2023 that aims to not only scare viewers, but make them reflect on their own deepest fears. Beyond basic horror, this show tackles bigger topics such as social norms, drug addiction, family dynamic, etc that give each episode a deeper meaning.

This title sequence is designed to give the viewer a glimpse into each episode of the season they’re watching. The fast paced visuals provide context and an overarching story to the slower, longer style frames, each representing an episode in season 2. We utilized grungy textures, colorful lighting and dynamic compositions to add nuance to overused horror tropes.
